WHAT RENTAL OPTIONS DO YOU OFFER?
We're flexible. We offer from one day, weekends, weekly and monthly rentals for photoshoots, movies, weddings, events and self-drive experiences, etc.
CAN I KEEP THE CAR OVERNIGHT?
Yes, you can definitely keep any of cars overnight. For some of our vehicles, which may not have tops or adequate door locks, you may need to arrange a secured, covered parking area to store the car overnight.
With all of our vehicles, please be watchful of storms and hail while the cars are in your care, hail damage can be really tough on these luxury vehicles so we would appreciate if you are driving the car and a hail storm comes up that you find a covered area as soon as you can to avoid costly damage that is your responsibility. We reserve the right to cancel a trip due to any severe weather concerns, ie: hurricanes, snow storms, tropical storms, etc.
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
Our cars are located at 425 Coorsdale Drive, Cary NC 27511. We're happy to arrange delivery/pickup of any vehicle to the location of your choice for an additional fee (Locally and Nationwide).
DO I HAVE TO PICK UP THE CAR AT YOUR LOCATION OR DO YOU DELIVER/PICKUP?
We are happy to do either. You can meet us at our location in Cary, NC or we can deliver/pickup the car at your venue, hotel or any location of your choosing Locally or Nationwide for a fee. Please inquire for more details.
ARE ADDITIONAL DRIVERS ALLOWED?
No! Only drivers that are on the original reservations will be allowed to drive the car.
WHAT ARE YOUR RENTAL REQUIREMENTS? EACH DRIVER MUST:
Be physically present at the time of the rental to walk around the car and complete the rental agreement.
Be 21 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Be able to drive a manual transmission car proficiently if you've rented our 1957 Porsche Speedster.
Provide a proof of personal (not commercial, corporate, fleet, motorcycle, etc.) automobile insurance at least two weeks prior to your rental (wallet card, online app, email or document showing drivers name, policy number and dates valid). If your insurance does not apply, we can provide alternate insurance solutions.
Provide a major credit card at check in.
ARE ALL THE CARS AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION?
No, not all of our cars are automatic. The 2 Porsche 911's, Shelby Cobra and Jaguar XKR are automatic. But the 1957 Porsche Speedster is a four speed manual transmission.
DO THE CARS HOLD MORE THAN 2 PEOPLE?
No, The 1957 Speedster and the 1966 Shelby Cobra do not have back seats at all! The 2 Porsche 911's and the Jaguar have such tiny back seats that only a small carry on luggage piece really fits back there.
WILL MY CHILD FIT IN THE BACK SEAT?
No, the 1957 Speedster and the 1966 Shelby Cobra do not have a back seats and in the other cars the back seats are way too small for a child seat to fit safely.
I HAVE A FULL DAY PLANNED. HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET ME ON MY WAY?
For the check in process, we will give you a walk around of the car and complete the rental agreement. This process normally takes about 15-20 minutes depending on your paperwork and any questions we can help with.
CAN I PICKUP/DROP OFF OF THE CAR EARLIER7LATER?
Unfortunately, bookings need be picked up and returned on time (if you should need more time please contact us as early as possible to arrange). Late pickups may result in a cancellation or late fee and late returns will be charged at $50 per hour. That being said, we will of course do our outmost to accommodate for any delays or changes to your reservation.
DO I HAVE TO RETURN THE CAR CLEAN?
No need to return the car clean. You will only be billed if the car is returned excessively dirty. Please do not run any of our cars through a car wash.
WHAT DO I DO ABOUT TOLL ROAD FEES?
The car has Quick-Pass which allows you to drive right through the tolls without having to pay. Tolls will be billed to your account at the end of your trip.
CAN I BRING MY PET AND/OR SMOKE IN THE VEHICLE?
Sorry, no pets or smoking is permitted in the vehicle. We charge a smoking fee of up to $250.
DO YOU MONITOR RECKLESS DRIVING?
All of our vehicles are protected by anti-theft, data recorder & tracking devices that monitor reckless driving, excessive speeding, hard braking, rapid acceleration and other types of abuse. Drive responsibly, obey the law and abide by laws of the Department of Motor Vehicles and our policies to ensure a pleasant trip.
CAN I DROP OFF THE VEHICLE IN A DIFFERENT LOCATION THEN THE PICKUP?
Yes! For a nominal fee, we offer one-way rentals. Please inquire for details.
ARE YOU AVAILABLE TO HELP DURING OUR RENTAL?
Absolutely! Text or call at any time during your trip, we're always available to help with any questions you may have.
I'M A FOREIGN DRIVER. WILL MY INSURANCE COVER ME IN THE UNITED STATES?
We're sorry, we are not insurance experts and car insurance coverage varies so much around the world and foreign insurance in some cases are often not valid outside of the renter’s home country, the European Union, etc. or the renter has different minimum requirements than the state of North Carolina. International and Canadian drivers must contact us at email@example.com to arrange alternative insurance prior to your reservation.
WHY DO YOU ASK FOR PROOF OF MY AUTOMOBILE INSURANCE POLICY?
It is required by state law for every driver to have adequate car insurance coverage. Please review the North Carolina State Law regarding the minimum insurance requirements.
Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with proof of personal (not corporate, fleet, business, motorcycle, etc.) automobile insurance for each driver at least one week prior to your rental (ex. wallet card, online app, email or document showing drivers name, policy number and dates policy is valid). I DON'T HAVE AUTOMOBILE INSURANCE BUT I THINK I'M COVERED THROUGH MY CREDIT CARD? IF NOT, CAN YOU PROVIDE COVERAGE?
We are sorry but Credit card companies only offer secondary policies that only cover damage to your rental car, not general liability insurance, personal injury, etc., and some cars are excluded from coverage which may include, classics, vintage, cars older than 10 years, exotics, etc. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange alternative insurance prior to your reservation.
DO YOU HAVE A CANCELLATION POLICY?
Yes, please give us at least 2 weeks prior notice if you have to cancel your reservation. Cancellations that are less than two weeks time are non-refundable since in most cases we have turned down several interested parties for the same car that is now not able to be rented. No refunds will be given if the cars are returned early or at the time of the rental delivery that your driver's license is not valid, proof of insurance is expired or you cannot drive a manual car, etc.)
IS IT OK TO LEAVE THE CAR UNATTENDED?
Yes, just remember to please take the key and lock the car.
HOW MUCH ROOM IS IN THE TRUNK?
Trunk space is very limited in all of the cars. The Jaguar as the largest trunk space and the 1957 Speedster has the least amount of storage room. There’s enough room for a small luggage carry on and a small bag in the cars.
WHAT'S THE CHARGE IF I DON'T RETURN THE CAR WITH A FULL TANK OF GAS?
We charge $10 fee plus the cost of gas to fill the tank. This extra fee covers our time and effort to fill the tank.
I WANT TO SURPRISE MY SPOUSE WITH A CAR FOR THEIR BIRTHDAY. DOES MY SPOUSE HAVE TO BE WITH ME OR CAN I PICK THE CAR UP MYSELF?
All drivers must be physically present at the time of the rental with their driver's license and a credit card. You are not permitted to pick up the car up for somebody else to drive. We will need proof of personal automobile insurance (not commercial, business, fleet, motorcycle, etc.) for all drivers emailed to us at least one week prior to the rental. We really love surprises and have worked with many couples to help plan out a surprise for their loved one. We are happy to help so please just contact us ahead of time and we can make it happen!
CAN I STOP BY AND SEE THE CARS BEFORE I RENT?
Yes, of course. Please let us know ahead of time so we can pick a time that the car is available for you to view.
