In 1957 the Porsche 356 Speedsters cost only $2995. These days, it's a different story... They have become incredibly valuable, easily fetching over a quarter-million dollars.

This particular Porsche 356 Speedster tribute was hand-built by JPS Motorsports in California. Every detail is identical to the original '57 Speedster, but under the skin, it definitely breaks with tradition. That's because it's powered by a modern water-cooled Subaru boxer engine. And while the original '57 car only made 70 horsepower or so, this one makes a full 200. In addition, it boasts modern safety features such as disk brakes, modern suspension, seat belts, and even air conditioning. All the fun of a rare classic in the form of a safe and pleasing driver.

Make no mistake, the Speedster is a true gentleman’s racer. The sleek shape and the sophisticated deep black exterior, complemented by elegant whiskey tan leather make for a truly timeless design.
